I cannot begin to describe the value of this book. If you are a beginner paralegal or a seasoned pro, this book is a MUST have. Are you thinking of changing fields of law in your career? This is the only book I have seen that actually gets information from several great paralegals. The paralegals share a lot of great ideas and tips. Should be required reading for anyone who wants to be a paralegal or who is studying to be one.
Again Carole Bruno is showing leadership in this field- taking on the task of talking to real paralegals and giving the industry a peek into what makes them successful.
I have Carole’s other books and had high expectations from her — she clearly did not disappoint me.

There are only so many times you can read about procedure before you start to ask yourself, what should I be doing, really? It’s one thing to know the rules; it’s a whole different ballgame when you’re talking about the day to day aspects of a paralegal career.
Carole Bruno found fifteen paralegals who know what they’re doing and were able to flesh out the job descriptions and fill in the details that somehow were missed in paralegal courses. I’ve found all sorts of useful information, and I end up flipping through it on a regular basis. Something new always jumps out at me, and I’ll take that tidbit to work and implement it and think, “Why didn’t I think of this?!”
